Yes, that's an actual graphic, the only surprises are Amstel(Light) for the republicans(but I guess that any light beer works for them), and Miller Genuine Draft for the democrats. I mean Miller? Really?
And like I said, that graphic is real, even Bill Maher talked about it.
So, are you with this bunch?
Or this bunch?
Note: the purpose of this post is a humorous one, and should be taken as a joke. If you are offended or take it seriously, you have the freedom to shut it and click the go back , button. Thank you.

I quite like where microbrew sits on that graph. Also Fox news would be the least and most trusted news source ….. ugggghhhhh.

I vote during most elections, I do probably lean more Republican than Democratic, and I like Sam Adams Light. This was pretty much on the spot for me.

Well, it is for the Tea Party, and the Tea Party believes that Jesus created NASCAR and built megachurches, just before chasing gay people with assault rifles.

Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale are probably my favourite two American brews.
that probably explains why I'm a socialist.

That basket looks like it contains/contained a cat. Also, wasn't the cow theme more fitted for Texas?

Well, as long as it gets the job done.

I don't see PBR on the list. Of course, maybe PBR drinkers just don't vote at all, even ironically.

Look out, Sam Adams is on the other side, you may be a national socialist?Lol.

My family doesn't do beer. We drink stuff like Skyy, Mt. Gay, Hennessy, Absolut, Mike's, weird European stuff like Schnaaps, etc. I personally don't drink (nor smoke), being underage and having had to carry my brothers upstairs or drive them back home after many a wild night. That, and my mom turns into Lucille Bluth/Mallory Archer when she drinks (not that she's not eerily similar when she's sober). Douchey family members are more effective than any PSA!
The Yuengling and Sam Adams locations are spot on, though.

Interesting. Two Canadian beers on there, both high-turnouts but one's pretty strongly Republican and the other's a sure Democrat. This doesn't surprise me, but I might have stuck them the other way around...

My beer of choice is right where I'd expect it to be.

You forgot the part where people and dinosaurs walked this planet together 6000 years ago.

Well, both democrats and republicans have a plan Z, choice for beer. So that's Canadian beer.

Shiner Bock
Though let me point out that the Republican party has done a lot to push me away in recent years. I don't particularly like either party. I think we're all fucked.

Lone Star: For when you really care, but not enough to do something.
Also, Fratty light splitting the line between liberal college hipsta-douches and hard-core conservative bro's, neither of whom can be assed to actually vote.

So you're like Bobby Jindal, when he said that the republicans should stop being the stupid party? Unfortunately he was right, and what's more unfortunate is that he rephrased it and got back, and the most unfortunate thing is that the democratic party is promoting policies that the republicans were promoting 25-30 years ago. This shows how much the republicans drifted to the right, especially after 9/11(giving the terrorists what they wanted), and that's not me, saying it.
Back to the beer, it seems to have quite a limited fan base.

Shiner Bock is most definitely very Texan. It slots in somewhere between Lone Star (CHEAP) and the higher end microbrews (Karbach, St. Arnolds, etc.). I think they actually make too many gallons a year to be considered a micro by the FDA these days. You can get it in a lot of states, but it is still a pretty Texan-centric beer.

This puts you in the very fortunate category of people with access to New Glarus beers. i.e. You're a Wisconsite.
I left the state and have longed for Spotted Cow ever since.

I wonder what the date range is for this. I bet if you went back 15 years or so, some of those beers would have switched — like Blue Moon and Rolling Rock would be farther to the left, and Miller farther to the right.

I think I've seen it twice around here, and I was surprised, as it was a long way from home. If I had to pick a locally produced beer, it would be this one.
But I'm more into European and Japanese beers.

Well, kind of, I live in Naperville IL so a trip to the brewery is only about 2 hours or so and totally worth it.

I'm kind of a lazy beer drinker. Shiner really is my first choice if only for familiarity. If I go somewhere that doesn't have it, I'll get whatever is on special... unless I especially don't like what that is. If I have to go cheap domestic, I prefer Coors Light. I prefer Dos XXs over Corona but I'm okay with either. Blue Moon is also an OK option that usually doesn't cost a lot.

I'm still surprised about the Amstel thing, probably republicans don't know it originates from Amsterdam, when light drugs and prostitution are legal, and highly appreciated.

They probably don't know when the election is, let alone voting.

I'm surprised that Bavaria is not in the graphic, as it's pretty good. This shows that a Charlie Sheen commercial is worth even less than the costs of filming it, nowadays.

That's a good bunch to be with. From now on, you can politically identify as "Awesome Caricature of a Libertarian". I bekieve their mascot is simply a steak from each of the other two's mascots.

Is there a way to expand the graph on mobile (android tablet)? Or perhaps the image sourcw floting around somewhere? I want to know my beer's politics, but I don't know that I want to know badly enough to boot up my computer right now.

I want to try this "Lonestar," sounds amazing. My favorite beer is either Lefthand's Milk Stout Nitro or Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, but neither is on the list. Unless the Milk Stout falls under "microbrew," but Lefthand isn't very micro.

Lone Star is pretty bad, even by Texas standards, like our Texas Jalops, have confirmed. But think free, try it for yourself, maybe you'll like it.

You my friend are a centrist and I would've told you to vote Libertarian, but Rand Paul is turning the movement into the other crazy republicans. He had some good ideas but he picked the dark side.
